Austin is home to the original University of Texas campus and just south of downtown is Formula One’s Circuit of the Americas raceway, the host track for the U.S. Grand Prix. This vibrant city also has a pretty intense music scene, several museums, and parks.

When you are out and about away from your campsite, you will want to find a luggage storage locker to stow your things. Storing valuables away from the campground is always recommended when you leave the site.

Evergreen RV Park
This smaller RV Park offers a very serene place to rest and spend a few days relaxing. Conveniently located only about ten minutes to downtown Austin, the Evergreen RV Park also accepts long-term campers.
Sit around a fire in the evening and soak up the peacefulness of the area or have an impromptu cook-out and get to know your fellow campers. There is a small market just around the corner from the campground.

COTA Camping
Pull your RV into COTA Camping and feel the excitement of race day with a bird’s eye view of the racetrack. Spend the day cheering on your favorite driver. Hear the roar of the engines and the cheers from the crowd. Revel in the overall camaraderie with your fellow campers.
Circuit of the Americas is more than a racetrack; it is also host to several concerts and festivals. Pack your bags and plan to spend a few nights camping and living life to the fullest. You can even try your hand at going around the racetrack while here.

Oak Forest RV Resort
This larger RV Park is able to accommodate large RVs, 5th Wheels, and travel trailers. Pull-through campsites are available with full hookups including electricity, water, and sewer. Oak Forest RV Resort is just outside the city limits of Austin.
The Travis County Expo Center, University of Texas, and Lady Bird Lake are only a short distance from the campground. You can easily reach downtown Austin and spend the day exploring the city then spend your evening relaxing around a campfire.
