The great city of Austin is a popular spot for tourists to escape during the winter months but does get decidedly warmer than many places during the summer months. Being the capital of Texas, Austin is a fantastic place to visit any time of year.

Austin is home to the original University of Texas campus and just south of downtown is Formula One’s Circuit of the Americas raceway, the host track for the U.S. Grand Prix. This vibrant city also has a pretty intense music scene, several museums, and parks.
