Nobody can fool us when it comes to beauty hypes, in the case … the Hey Pretty team is totally DEDICATED when it comes to testing new products and trends. I can not say so much yet, but last week I got at least five eyelashes out for a coming blog post, more on that.
Today we take a look at one of the big hype products of the early summer – respectively Sandra, because after I tested the new Dior mascara for a few weeks, now she has her (already Bambi) eyelashes with the «inflated “Must-have mascara known.
Here is her review!
There is no way past you. The sisters of Hadid are presently omnipresent. Dior has now chosen Bella, the younger of the two, as the flagship of her new Diorshow mascara. As a “modern icon and the perfect representative of the digital age and Generation Y” – said, Dior.
With so much coolness and timeliness, I can not keep up, so we devote ourselves to the essentials: Schminki!
For many women and men, mascara is the Holy Grail product par excellence. It just lives better with climate eyelashes!
Dior has already presented in this regard properly: Even in 2002 launched Diorshow Mascara has many fans. The new edition with the sporty name Pump’n’Volume is now a kind of BTS (you know? DIGITAL GENERATION!), So a behind the scenes product that was inspired by the backstage area of fashion shows:
Peter Philipps, creative and image director of Christian Dior Makeup (oh I love him), created particularly dramatic eye looks in 2017.
Matching with this, there is now a new mascara for spectacular volume:
Diorshow Pump’n’Volume Mascara, about 48 francs
A special highlight is the innovative packaging: The tube is flexible, so it can be compressed and thus distributes the product on the brush (that would be the “pump” part). Incidentally, this is provided with rather short pimples, so not so fluffy as the first Diorshow mascara.
In addition, the “kneading” of the mascara tube should keep the formulation of optimally fluid. A mixture of waxes and elastic powders will give the eyelashes intense volume.
So, but can the mascara also what?
Yes, she can! It delivers a really nice, dramatic volume for real wow eyelashes. The formulation may be slightly sticky, it may be advisable to have an eyelash brush ready in case something should lump.
I find the novel packaging very interesting and I am curious if the product lasts longer due to the regular kneading.
And they are totally beautiful!
It is worthwhile to go to the counter and organize a Swatch party.
Sandra, who wrote her review last week at the stub table aka Hey Pretty Office, concentrated on writing in the case, and immediately afterward did a lot of work on the swatch.
Steffi’s comment on that? “Sandra, why do not you test the Diorshow instead of putting on false eyelashes?”. Sandra, on the other hand, just answered with a slight flutter of her obscene eyelashes, sweeping Steffi straight off the chair.
Okay, I invented the last part.
But honestly, I too (uh, Steffi) am very enthusiastic about the Diorshow Pump’n’Volume, which gives really a quite spectacular volume and very intense color … which in the evening has to be extensively brushed off again, just so you know.
With me on Instagram, you can see a selfie with the “pumped” eyelashes.
And with that, we’ll release you in Wednesday, Cara. Have a great day!
The Diorshow Pump’n’Volume Mascara is now available from all Dior depositaries.
The products discussed have been provided to me as PR samples by the brand or its PR agency.
