Friday is Fri-YAY! Once again we managed to make our way through drizzle and ice, salt-patch-on-the-boots and cappuccino-milk foam at the Operlippe and now, hopefully, we can nest in the weekend! Are you happy too, e birebitzeli?
And do you have enough of this gloomy February weather? The ultimate solution would be One week Mauritius.
Or equal to their twelve? This week, the newly launched lip ink lipstick from L’Oréal Paris has arrived. It will be available as a pre-launch at Manor and will be available in stores from March onwards.
Unpack and loose-swatches, right?
“Why apply thick, when a touch of nothing is enough?” Is the claim.
I still have a few objections here, but in terms of lipstick, I have to give the L’Oréal people an ebitzeli right!
L’Oréal Paris Rouge Signature (in 12 colors), each 21.90 francs
With its barely palpable, ultra-light pigments, the new «highly pigmented ink-lipstick» provides intense, matt color, which (hebb di) should last up to 24 hours.
It is expressly mentioned that the blush signature should withstand eating, drinking and kissing. And even then “as fresh as if it had just been applied” .
We will test it immediately. But first a few close-ups of the twelve colors in which the Rouge Signature is available!
The Purples (from above): I Rule, I Enjoy, I Rebel and I Speak Up …
Then the reds: I Achieve, I Am Worth It, I Do not and I Represent …
… and finally the Nudes: I Explore, I Stand, I Empower and I Savor :
The texture is really extremely light: so light that I would not tip the tube over my favorite handbag! The heart-shaped applicator is surprisingly thin, almost a spatula rather than a sponge …
… you can use it to apply the color from super-precise. And you MUST, too, with such intense colors!
Crazy closeup with 45-year-old lip wrinkles!
Aaaalso: Very big lips and many compliments for the feather-light texture that never dries even after several hours of wearing, but on the lips is really not felt. This can be dangerous, because you could really forget that you’re wearing it and then swiftly wiping your mouth at the afternoon.
Regarding the durability, unfortunately I have to dampen the expectations a bit:
So you have to add (in my experience) after a meal quite, but he remains super-comfortable. And color intensive!
The effect is quite similar to one of my favorite matte Liquid Lipsticks, the Matte Shaker by Lancôme ( here my review ) … and a whole round cheaper.
Props, dear L’Oréaller (L’Oréalleusen? L’Oréalisten?) For a pretty great make-up buddy. And I can now get my glamorous red lips ready for … A WEEKEND FULL OF NETFLIX AND PFUUSEN.
Then people say beauty blogger life is not glam!
The Rouge Signature lipstick from L’Oréal Paris is available in 12 colors as a pre-launch exclusively at Manor, from mid-March everywhere in the trade at 21.90 francs.
