The Creator and Founder of the Hormone Clinic — Meet Dr. Rachel Jones

With mental health issues on the rise, Psychiatrists, Psychologists and Therapists,  are stepping up to the plate, providing much-needed support and guidance. Being a part of the noble career, these niches of doctors are well equipped to handle any mental duress patients might feel and introduce stability into their lives. It is exactly what Dr. Rachel Jones aims to do through her private practice at  The Hormone Clinic who specialise in the use of BioIdentical Hormone Replacement Therapy,  hormones which are completely natural, vegan friendly and non-synthetic tailor made for your body.

Born and raised in Worcester, England, Dr. Jones moved to London when she was 18 to get her MBBS from St Bartholomew Medical College in 1993. She also earned a degree in Psychiatry from The Royal College of Psychiatry and has been a member there since 1997. But she did not stop there and became a General Medical Council Specialist for Forensic Psychiatry in 2005.

Being a stellar academic is just one-half of Dr. Jones’ oeuvre. She worked for the NHS  from 1993 to 2013, where she became a Consultant Psychiatrist in 2005. At the West Suffolk Hospital, Dr. Jones practiced in adult psychiatry and then moved on to become a forensic psychiatrist between 2007 and 2013 at The John Howard Secure Hospital.

After 2013, Dr. Jones left the NHS and started her path toward establishing her private practice. She joined Priory Healthcare and St. Edmunds Hospital as a visiting consultant and still has practicing privileges in both organizations. Her long list of accomplishments has her become an expert witness for The Crown Court and Family Court.

With her extensive medical and psychiatry experience, Dr. Jones discovered the correlation between hormonal imbalance and mental health problems. This discovery led her to build The Hormone Clinic, where she helps people balance their hormones and treat mental illnesses for permanent cure using Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy. She believes that maintaining a balanced life would prevent, to a great degree, the recurrence of mental illnesses in people.

The Hormone Clinic and Dr. Jones’s four kids are the pride and joy of her life. To Dr. Jones, her children are the most prized achievement of her life. She wants to continue working at her private practice and The Hormone Clinic to spread accurate information about various treatments, from balancing hormones and maintaining mental health symptoms.
